Shelley Birkett-Eyles, Ascot Natural Health Centre

Shelley Birkett-Eyles

Shelley Birkett-Eyles, Director and founder of Hemispheres Movement for Learning Ltd, is a specialist Occupational Therapist with over 16 years experience in the field of neurology and paediatrics. Shelley is the only Occupational Therapist in England who is dual trained as a Consultant Educational Kinesiologist (Brain Gym ®), as well as being qualified in the Spalding Method®, a highly successful, research based, literacy acquisition programme.

Hemispheres offers a unique approach to understanding your child’s difficulties. By applying the latest research on how the brain and body work, we are able to identify the causes of your child’s difficulties. We can then offer specific programmes of movement which will not only improve the way your child learns and thinks but also will affect the development and integration of language, speech, emotion, social interaction, attention and concentration.

Shelley heads up a team of registered Occupational Therapists, Therapy Assistants and Kinesiologists whilst working very closely with Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists and Consultant Paediatricians.
